The above is true (as far as cheesy analogies go), and I agree. What I do not agree with is when people claim that, by treating your room toward achieving some optimal conditions, you'll end up discovering that there are more paintings on the walls than you've initially been aware of. I don't think that kind of magic is possible to achieve with careful room treatment.
