I already use a netbook to run the web UI which is exclusively how I control my Touch. I like the web UI - it suits me perfectly and I can see the screen and reach the keyboard+pointer. I can also browse the Internet!. My Touch is 3 metres away...
I don't want to be tied to a Logitech hardware player solution. Much as I love them, it's just not clear to me that the next (post-Touch) device will be what I need.
