In Eu typical loudspeaker wire sizes can be 2,5 mm2 next one is usually
4 mm2 .
sound of different metals in cables belongs to our myth tread imo
enough about that.

output z of preamps vs input z of amps okay, they are in sane designs
usually like < 100 ohm out and between 10kohm and 100kohm in think we
are green in most cases given the short lengths involved.

Passive preamp have some concern about C in the cable otherwise treble
rollof could occur, but BJC and similar outfits have low C signal cable
from belden or canare etc for peanuts so it wont ruin you.

my 0.0.2c is to go for active speakers as they just do away with so
many other concerns, this reasoning usually falls on the limited and
expensive selection avaible, but it seems like the amount avaible
models increase all the time
