So you're basically saying that it's -all- in the listener's head? Most people here don't take it that far, and I personally believe I would be able to hear the difference between a pair of $10 earbuds and my Sennheiser cans even if I didn't want to, but you're entitled to your opinion. :)
At least the listener can -claim- to hear what he wants to claim to hear, regardless of what the actual soundwaves are like, and nobody can prove him wrong, because the experience of hearing is subjective, like all experiences. But I suspect that's a little bit off topic. -- Soulkeeper 'Bug 17797: Updating wiki.slimdevices.com' (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=17797) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Soulkeeper's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35297 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91322 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list audiophiles@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/audiophiles
