I am one too, and while I agree about the value, the problem is that we
are a dying breed. Ask your ham operator friend what the average age is
of the other hams he knows, and how many young ones he knows.

Electronic Control Unit. And my point with that is that with a modern
car you need a lot of special diagnostic equipment,  and most stuff is
not repairable any more - you just replace black boxes, while
desperately trying to avoid triggering the air bag...
