The topc was not i2s transfer methods but ethernet networking . Yes i do own this gear . Meridian is quite objektive in their designs , they have gone wrong with MQA and hirez. They are not in the voodoo anf magic as other brands, They ste mostoy rigth and maybe 5 times to expensive . But , thier where alone back then to have a reasonable take on an audio system. Namely active speakers with digital xover and returningbthe signal to analog as late as possible in the chain it makes perfect sense . They are not perfect but as they say in the land of the blind the one eyed is king . Compate cary and audionote that can build stuff that costs a fortune and performe worse than a chinese 50$ DVD player -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 MeridianG98DH 2 x MeridianDSP5200 MeridianDSP5200HC 2 xMeridianDSP3100 +Rel Stadium 3 sub.
