As usual, I am importing the German Gliding calendar again this year. Unfortunately I only received the invoice from the publisher late last night and could not advertise with a price before now, though several of you have already rung me to ask about it. From the A4 leaflet they sent me, it will be a good set of pictures again next year!
The calendar will be available in a few days' time, and the price will be $43 if you get it from me in person (in Canberra, Temora or Waikerie for the Nationals). To cover postage costs I will need to charge $43 a calendar plus $8 a parcel if posted to NSW or Victoria; $44 a calendar plus $8 a parcel posted to Adelaide, Tasmania or South Queensland _(postcodes up to 4699) ; and $45 a calendar plus $8 a parcel posted to NT, WA, North Queensland (postcodes 4700 and above except Brisbane-area 4900- codes) and SA country (postcodes 5200 to 5749). (Don't blame me for Australia Post's parcels charging system! - it's $7.40 plus a weight component that varies with distance from Canberra between 30 cents and $2-75!)
This year the publishers are also offering a bonus souvenir "Junior-Kalender" desk calendar for purchasers of the large wall calendar, at a cost that works out to $15 each at no extra postage cost. I have a number of these for offer to purchasers - the publishers do not allow them to be sold separately.
