I was quite surprised when at Joey glide 05 people refused to do a card check, saying "we don't do that here".
Isn't it more a case of 'we dont do that at comps'? Do other comps do it? I didnt think they did. A comp pilot is experienced enough to do the check themselves. I certainly did it in my head as the tug started to line up in front of me. Having someone do it all again is unnecessary when we are trying to launch the whole fleet quickly.
