Just for reference, this is provided so that the chair can jump on people proposing votes without disccussion, proposing votes that are ambiogouse and should be reformed, etc, etc. If we don't like the discretion of the chair - well we can express our opinion to the members, the board, etc.

day period shall default to a 14 day duration.
At the end of please. No more rushed votes. Mulling is good. Changing one's mind is not a failure.
The PMC Chair count shall stands as the
final authority on vote counts. Non announcement of a vote
result by the chair within 60 days of the initiation of a vote
shall render the vote null and void.
There are higher authorities than the PMC Chair. We should not discount them in our design here.
