I meant hopefully soon there will be a built in way for Away3D.

Also I don't know how easily it is to access the bitmap of the Away3D phong
etc render and just output that for reuse later.

Right now I use Lightwave to do the baking. Once I set up a scene, I can
reuse the lights etc, and just swap out the object if I want the same lights
on all things. Using a 3D app might not be the fastest way, but it might be
the best render you can get.

Maybe soon it can be done easily in Away3D with a really good render.

But a simple/fast way like I mentioned about (grabbing the bitmap of the
phong etc) seems like it should be possible now.
