I found a great work around: Create multiple Meshes in Modo, each with their own UV Map. Then export that to Obj. Prefab loads the meshes in layers and I can remap the UVs baked from Modo. Finally I export each object as an AS3 class and import in FB!
I love Prefab's rendering too. It's an awesome time saver. But modo has the best soft shadows and GI :) http://groups.google.com/group/away3d-dev/web/Test-Render.jpg That takes 35s to render and a few minutes to bake. But I got to figure out why I get some weird artifacts in the texture's shadows when baking. Thank you for all your help!
