Rick, That's the reason I think you and Steve are correct about the surname farther down being "Rey" and starting with an "R" instead of a "P" -- that curly-que at the end of both the "L" and the "R" is consistent (and yes, I know the old saying re the hobgoblins of small minds!). I DO think, though, that a person's penmanship tends to have some consistent patterns.
