Hi Richard,

You are so kind to offer help. I've been stuck with my family line
from Ribeira Grande for years. I have been waiting patiently for the
records to come online. It would be great if you can help me.

I have Verissimo Rodrigues Melao married to Claudina Rosa in Nossa
Senhora da Estrela. I know
they had a child born around 1839. I could be way off, this is just
an estimate date. It is possible they had married before 1828. His
parents were Joao Rodrigues Melao and Umbelina Rosa.
Claudina Rosa's parents were Francisco Goncalves Escalha and Laurencia
Rosa Rosa.

I am also interested in Jose dos Santos and Helena do Patrocinio.
They had a child born around the same time, 1839. Again, just an
estimate.

Any help would be great. Thank you for your offer and time. Happy
New Year Everyone!!!
