That error message is unfortunately pretty general. It means that something hung rsync before could gather the file list, likely before it even attempted to. If you go to the host summary and view the error log it might give you more detail on what problem was. If that doesn't help try running the RsyncClientCmd by hand on the CLI and see what kind of error message you get.
