I successfully have a clustered config working without initializing (v1.1.2 on Ubuntu 12.04). It looked like node initialization only pertained to MailScanner configuration via web GUI (which I don't believe got implemented in 1.1?). I did *not* use the packages.
It was pretty easy [after some trial and error] getting Baruwa clustered. I had more problems with SQLgrey using master-master replication, but that was partly because I tried using the repo package before src (mistake). Are there specific roadblocks you're hitting trying to cluster? -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Raymond Norton Sent: Tuesday, March 19, 2013 4:37 PM To: Baruwa users list Subject: Re: [Baruwa] Scanner won't initialize From the docs for 1.1 it said the boxes must be initialized. They show up as a local scanner when you do that, but come up red, with a message saying the scanner needs to be initialized again.
