I've not had that experience in my dealings with the breeders I've gotten my dogs from. Normal or not, I wouldn't consider it acceptable. BUT, have you tried calling her? You must also consider the possibility of something being wrong at her end. Her computer is down. Family issues that need attention. Any number of things could be going on on her side. So before we crucify her, I'd try an alternative form of communication.
