Alain, I just rode in the rain for the better part of 4 days and used a cape, it was wonderful, my shorts never got wet and it rained very hard at times. I bought mine used from Martin Coopland in Scotland, it is made of bright yellow slicker material, it is too short to use the thumb loops but is still way more comfortable and effective than my favorite jacket. Both Carradice and Campmor sell them, not familiar with either. Steve
