I am in the market for a U-Lock and my preference is a combination
lock instead of a key lock just because I know that I'll probably end
up loosing the key. Also, I have a large family with several bikes
(last summer 16 operational bikes in the garage- I don't have 16
children) and it is helpful to have several locks all with the same
combination. I notice that none of the LBSs stock this kind of lock
(the stock U-Locks but not the comb. type) and the manufacturers of
these only have a few in the comb. style. Are these less effective? Is
there some issue with the combination as opposed to a key?

thanks again, in advance
