Don't do it.
I've got an early 80's 610, the wife has a 620. Fork clearance is
tight. We installed narrow Planet Bike fenders. They do the job...
but If I had a do-over, I'd get wider ones and notch them. With a
Dremel tool, or a rasp bit in a regular drill, notching is simple.
I've notched oversized fenders for our other bikes with good
results.
