Ya, get some fenders that fit, and save the Berthoud fenders for a
project where they fit. Not a hard pill to swallow. Don't notch
expensive nice fenders. That's stupid, unless you're Mr. Moolah. Buy
some $40 SKS or PB fenders for the 620 that fit. Prolly some 35mm
jobbers that'll just take some 30mm tires, right?  Don't like plastic
fenders you say? Bullshit--I've lived with, not just talked smack
about fenders. Short plastic fenders with long rubber or leatherette
splashguards are the way to go if you're like me--bonging around in
the city, adopting stray radiators and such. Promise!
