Cal did put BIG good advice-- if you cannot figure why your animals disappering... bobcat, cotoyes, mountain lions, even worse.. jugular! CALL the State Game Warden.. they'll will of course HAPPY to help ya'll out.. I had expereince with jugular.. several nights I had heard barbados banging the shed and panel fence.. I went out and check, couldn't find the curpit.. not until heard that neighbor spotted jugular.
Lucky that we had game warden to come in and solved the spooking nights..

I agreed with Cal- if ur supectious bout something.. better than bein sorry.
