We used to give adult humans a full bottle of pepto ( I hate the stuff and
prefer Kaopectate) for irretractable diarrhea r/t antiobiotic therapy. It
was dosed 2 oz per hour til the bottle was gone. AND it could be repeated.
YIKES, but it worked wonders.
