True, and I wasn't trying to imply that.  My interest in DESTDIR and 
capturing this type of information about its gotchas was in trying to 
develop a *very poor* man's PM (more of a file-tracking method, really) 
in the hope that if/when LFS/BLFS introduce a PM(s), it will be an 
easier transition.
