Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I am looking at used 2006 M3 that was purchased by a BMW dealer a few months ago at an auto auction in Pennsylvania. Is there any way to determine what the dealer paid for it? Like most people, I am willing to pay the dealer a fair profit and the cost of the CPO process, I just don't want to pay $10K or $15K over, which their list price indicates ... Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Rex, Most dealers used Galves as their guide. Unless it is an in-demand car, they won't pay much over Galves. Just by the fact that the car ended up in an auction it makes me think that there is an excess amount of M3s out there. Which also is a red flag to me (IMO). Why is a 2006 sent to auction? Is there something that you as the potential buyer *might* be interested in? Is this a sunroof delete car? Then that might be the reason it was tossed to auction. Of course an option you might like. One other scenario is that it was a manufacturer car, and BMWNA sent it to auction. But typically, a manufacturer will sell to a dealer rather than the car get a history of going through auction. As noted, all IMO. Matt Murray ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rex Tener" >I am looking at used 2006 M3 that was purchased by a BMW dealer a few >months ago at an auto auction in Pennsylvania. Another buyer was willing to go a few thousand higher than me. Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Group, I have a list of all the service procedures performed on a car I'm interested in purchasing. Problem is the list includes no details, only the factory service/maintenance procedure number! I have dates, dealer info, mileage, etc for all the services performed yet no details of what was actually done! Can anyone point me to a list of service/maintenance procedures by number? Is this something that can be found in a TIS manual? Thanks! I found this a while back, but I have not tried it. <http://www.tmk.com/defect-form> Rex ------------------------------ End of [bmwuucdigest] digest(6 messages) **********
