What I am going to say has never been suggested by Humanware, but
it worked for me.
My Voicenote would not boot. Even the Reset and Record button
major service reset did not work. After trying this several
times I talked to Humanware, who suggested that I return the
unit. However, just before packing it up, I decided to try
something else, just an idea of mine, and again I must make it
clear that this has never been suggested by Humanware.
I turned the machine off, and kept it plugged into the power
supply. I then turned the machine on its side, in order to get
a better hold of the switches. I then pressed and held down the
reset and record buttons while the machine was still turned off,
and then, whilst holding these buttons in, I turned the machine
on. I continued to hold the buttons in for a few seconds, then
let go of both of them, and the unit came to life.
