Dear List,

I create all my KeyWord documents on a CompactFlash card. I never use the
flash disk or the Keysoft System disk for word processing. I have often
thought it's a shame we can't use a CompactFlash card to store email or web
pages without having to first put them on the flash disk.

I have never had any trouble transferring my files from the CompactFlash
card to my PC. You could even create zipped folders to back up your BN word
processing files.

I never use the backup feature, I prefer the copy feature, but to each her
or his own.

I'm still using the old mother board and Keysoft 3.06. I hope to buy a
second BN in the future. I'm leery about modifying hardware and
software--it seems like something always goes wrong--and I use my BN so much
I really need two of them.

One other suggestion: I'm sure that many of you use BT keyboards and so you
must translate your docs into print for sighted people to read them. Well,
keep all your text files on your PC. For those who don't have a PC, keep
them on spare compact flash cards or disks or microdrives. For those of us
using QT keyboards, you can either create your files in text, Word or WP 5.1
or you could export your KeyWord text files to text, Word or WP 5.1. Then
transfer them to your PC.
