Diane,

Thank you, that is exactly what I meant. This has all been an unfortunate
misunderstanding, and I hope it's getting cleared up. All of this has caused
me to relearn a very important truth:

Sarcasm does *NOT* translate well through Emails! Note to self!

Hi, List!

Actually, Ann, Jonathan did send out an explanation a while back saying that
the original 6.1 upgrades would have the 6.11 upgrade added to it and sent out.
I think this was sent out in March when so many people were getting bent out of
shape over not receiving their upgrades when they wanted them. Maybe Sarah
remembers this email like I do, and made her statement according to it. After
all, the label doesn't mean anything after Jonathan assured people that the
6.11 upgrade would be on the original card along with the 6.1 upgrade. Lisa had
a right to ask about this if she has not been keeping up with the List lately,
but don't come back on people who know, and remember, things just because they
answer a question in a manner that you don't approve. Sarah was giving a good
answer, not a rude, uncaring one.

Lighten up everyone! Let's relax and enjoy our new upgrades, or our old ones,
and keep on offering new ideas for PDI to use in future upgrades. This is a
good list when people aren't picking at one another. Let's keep it this way!!

>Hi all,

>Sarah Cranston writes: > Why do you think you got 6.1 instead of 6.11?

>Sarah, there are some people in this world, unlike you and me, who,

>label says 6.1. Lisa assumed that the label was correct.

>This would *never* have happened if it were a printed label. People

>but firm voice that she had received a mislabeled can of soup, and
>would the store please repair the error? People can get killed if
>their medicine bottles are mislabeled!

>Should Lisa now assume that since the label is in Braille it " doesn't

>I'm surprised you would have such an attitude toward such an error.
>Is it because it's Braille? Is it because you expect that since we're
>blind we should just be content with getting slipshod service? What?

><smile> Look, folks, I know that this error has probably occurred

>If there were a note in the Braille instructions that clearly

>I'm sure it will be corrected, but letting it slide just because the
>Braille "doesn't mean anything" is wrong, IMO.
