It's pretty cool that an end of year Awards Ceremony &
Dinner is even happening this year. I personally
think it's a great move towards the increased
transparency & involvement of the wider Ultimate
community in UK Ultimate maters.
Shame that everyone, who wants to come, can't come.
Let's remember that London has the most number of
Ultimate players of any one city in the UK. It also
has a wide range of
A+BTourOpen/Womens/Mixed/Junior/and University
Ultimate players. Not a completely illogical choice
for a first Conference then, no?
Then, if this event is successful, perhaps one will
need a 'Tour-style' bidding process for next year's
event. But please, let's not complain two weeks
beforehand that we don't like the Location of the
event!
Also: London players! Stop being lazy ultimate
players & get your tickets for this event NOW if you
havent already done so. It would be a real shame if
of the several hundred of you based in this city, we
could not fill up a conference & dinner hall twice
over!! You like dinner, ya? Me too. See you there!

ps - btw, it's only a fiver to take a Megabus from
Birmingham to London, and even less from Bournmouth to
London. Matt/Jam, I hope you both still consider
coming along. I'm sure crash space can be organised!
