Jamie, Sorry but you are wrong. The problem of consecutive games in the A tour is entirely the fault of the format. The A tour has always had 8 pitches available (the maximum you can use with 16 teams). Irrespective of there being split tour venues or the number of pitches for joint venues the consecutive game problem will always exist. The twelve team crossover to four pools of 4 takes 4 rounds and 4 teams will have to play 3 games back to back. Change the format to one that takes three rounds and you fix the problem.
For the B tour again the problem is at least partly the fault of the format. If we allow ourselves to formats that require fewer games overall (as detailed in by B-C Tour suggestion) we can make better and more efficient use of the pitches we do have available (and hence get longer games for B & Women's tours). The tour format has been change mid season before, Chris or Barry what does it take to get it changed for Tour 3?
