Jeg bruger en opløsning af kaustisk soda - måske 1 dl perler til
omkring 10 liter vand - ryster godt, lad den stå på hovedet i
en time eller to og på bunden i en time til. Tilsætter lidt tryk
og lader noget væske komme ud gennem øl-konnektoren for at
få renset stigrøret.
Skinnende rent! Dette system ligner mest det som mikrobryggerier
bruger, hvor de pumper kaustisk soda rundt. Og min erfaring er
at det fjerner ALT.
OBS:
- Du skal ikke bruge noget f.eks ståluld der kunne ridse overfladen,
det giver bare gemmesteder til bakterier.
- Man skulle heller ikke bruge klor sammen med rustfrit stål. Det
kan ætse små huller der igen bliver til gemmesteder.
Du skal bagefter skylle godt, og desinficere med iodofor inden
brug.

Depends a little how dirty they are. If I ieven suspect that there has
been a beer with infection in it, I consider them extremely dirty.
For the worst ones, I soak them in hot bleach (klorin) solution for some
hours, brush everything carefully, rinse, neutralize that with a bit of
acid solution, rinse again, rinse, soak 10 minutes in Iodophor, and
rinse the worst foam off. I take all the connectors apart, and some
times even the small O-rings from them (but they don't always survive
that). All the small bits I soak in the same liquids, but in a smaller
bucket.
Some times, when I believe I have a clean keg, I just fill it with hot
water, symbolically wave the brush to the general direction of the keg,
and give it 5 minutes of Iodophor. If I am really sure the small bits
are clean, I just pump some of that Iodophor out with CO2, but usually I
take them all apart.
