Here my comments to the proposed format of DM-2005:
I want my comments. The better and more qualified comments, the better. Especially those beers that have something wrong deserve to know what it is. of course it is nice to get a medal, but it was the feedback in 2003 that I really appreciated. The uncommented score that dropped me off in the 2004 qualifications was totally useless for me. Also, asking the judges to write comments, we force them to be more honest and serious. I would not mind paying 100 kr more for the contest, but if I get no feedback for my beer, I probably won't bother entering at all.
