Well, do not say "I don't want to write drivers". If you don't want
to use existing drivers, you have to write drivers yourself, of
course. I don't mean that you MUST use existing drivers. That's up to
you, but you must choose whether writing new drivers or using existing
drivers, or you don't use any device at all.
