Elpidio Latorilla, Before you start. How many branches you like to have? 1000? Check my mail and ideas yesterday to Dr. Antas. Kurt is using CVS also at his iPath project. I think it is better to Open the branch there. Their results if they are happy with it (in special the changes can go via the wayof care2x-plugins. From there you can pic up the things if you decide to include it to the global version of care2x.
So there is the way that kurt is leading his project and is fully responsible for it. At the moment it seems not so important. But if there are thousands of projects? See the Austria Cam module. The licence is not GPL so there is no chance to integrate it to care2x. Can be a similar project. For CVS Mathias Nies (maze) like to look for help to CVS. So possibly in future such a team exists. I think we are realy at a point to give care2x a better Community and team structure. Otherwise it is exploding. Dr. Antas like to do a postgree version. This is a high interest of him. But if i look i can't see who is realy developing at that point. Where are the results? Who is in the Team? Who i can ask if i have a problem with it? Where i can find any documentation? Wiedeman db2 the same. Who is helping him? With a structure of Typo3 i posted yesterday. I am shure Dr. Antas is successful with postgree very soon. Typo3 gave me only some good ideas. We have not to use this. Its only an inspiration. I give you an Example: Go there and see PDF Generator: http://typo3.org/index.php?id=1383 You got an introduction: http://typo3.org/doc.0.html?&tx_extrepmgm_pi1[extUid]=496&tx_extrepmgm_pi1[tocEl]=1412&cHash=6325cf1e13 And a well structured Documentation with the responsible persons and so on: http://typo3.org/doc.0.html?&tx_extrepmgm_pi1[extUid]=496&cHash=030183e9a1 Kurts thing he like to do are minimum 2 different things. #### 1. A complete project #### For our usage of Care2x in Kenya and South Africa That is absolutely an own local project what he like to share. I don't know at the moment for a global or for a continent (Africa) or a local focus. Possibly The result if they are ready is a global thing for care2x itself. The result and only the result needs to be reviewed for a later integration what is maybe hard enough. This project needs to be a place somewhere. Sourceforge is maybe a good place for it. Other places are known. But it is his decition. #### 2. He like to include the iPath project in his under 1 named project. Because they need it. This is an extension or can be named as Plugin. Please look again very close to this point what care2x is now and what we need to do. http://typo3.org/1397.0.html This is why i like to build up the care2x-plugins. Others like to use other structures. You sometimes concern to me that i like to manage people. This is absolutely wrong! The people are absolutely independant what they do. I like to give care2x a better community base. And a (better?) developer base. This needs to be managed. A professional consultant needs to have a very fast overview. Or a hospital as well. I need this or this solution. Is that tool care2x able to do it for me? Yes or no? What i need to do if i like to use it and who i can contact to help me for a solution to my needed things. am Donnerstag, 18.
