Aaron, Andrew, Chris: we hear you. Loud and clear. I'm going to do my best to shepherd these concerns into two substantial results: 1. Improved documentation 2. Alternate deployment strategy targeted at sysadmins I'm still fairly certain that a VM-based deployment solution is not suitable for production, but I am equally certain there's value in demonstration, evaluation, and testing. As for alternate deployment solutions, I'm going to block out some time in the next month, with focus at the Jasig converence in May, to do tangible work on Debian packaging, https://issues.jasig.org/browse/CAS-900. It's just one possible solution, but at least it's _a_ solution for sysadmins.
