catalina27-talk: oil changing on universal 18

i'm a recent owner and am about to embark on my first oil change.  have an 
elec. pump that i was going to use to pump out thru the dip stick tube.  but 
in looking at the engine noted that the bottom of the oil pan has a fitting 
with a hose attached that is run up forward and capped.  looks like i could 
use this to get the oil out although the fitting on the end doesn't look 
like a natural fit to my pump.

anybody got the same thing on their u18 and how do you get the oil out?
