Pull out day is tomorrow so I picked up my usual $40 worth of anti-freeze today. The forecast tonight is for 28°-30°F but it will be a little warmer in the water.
Every year Ive been cutting off my raw water inlet hose to dip it in the anti-freeze jug. Last year I had to replace it, so 10 seasons before it was too short. This year I plan to bore a hole through my raw water strainer bowl and attach a ½ barb fitting and replace the bowl in the spring.
