I take your point and will look into the possibility, however, if I
could find a seahood that would be my preference. The other 2 C27s in
our club both have them, were they an option?

dodger. You can put a stainless steel bar over the main hatch and
attach the dodger to it. That's what we did. It's strong enough
for a 300 pound man to do chinups on it. We don't need a seahood
with the dodger (but of course we're not venturing out in bad storms.)

Peregrine does not have a sea hood for the main hatch. We would
