If you follow the YouTube related videos far enough, you’ll see one of her American Idol performances (Natural Woman) and her mom is the blonde in the audience who looks just like her. But I prefer to watch a video like “Let Them Go”—can’t see her very well, but the singing is, well, awesome (he said, proudly). The Star Spangled Banner is a real bear to sing, especially a capela, and more so when you have delayed sound coming at your ears from the speakers several hundred feet away. I was impressed, but I’m biased. Glad to hear you liked it. But I’m really proud of this girl, even if her mother and I split up three years ago. She sang the National Anthem at the Cubs game last night, and someone got it on video and posted it on YouTube.
