ODR works via CDP, so as long as your interface(s) support CDP it will work
just fine.

Frame-relay interfaces can work just fine with it. You'll need to make sure
they are "broadcast" enabled PVCs and that you use the "cdp enable" command
on the interface (it's off by default) but otherwise it will work.

Subject: ODR over GRE tunnel question

I'm able to get ODR to work over a direct connect pretty easily.

My question is about getting it to work where there is not a direct
connection, and CDP packets get eaten by the equipment in between.

In my case I have a frame-relay simulation in between the hub and spokes.

I configured tunnels, I turned on CDP on the tunnels. I gave the tunnel
interfaces IP addresses, and it works ok.

Is there some more elegant way to get ODR to work over a GRE tunnel?
