Here is my diagram that i am working with. I know the example is a bit
extreem but i wanted to force as may problems in the lab as possible
--------MPLS------------

R6 (PE) R2 (PE)

(AREA 56) (AREA 24)

R5 R4

(AREA 56) (AREA 24)

R7 R8

(AREA 0) (AREA 0)

R1 R9

-------(AREA 19)--------
(Backdoor Link)
Here is what i have done
1.) Virtual Link AREA 19 Between R1 and R9
2.) Virtual Link AREA 56 Between R7-R5-R6
3.) Virtual Link Area 24 Between R8-R4-R2
4.) Sham Link Area 24 Between R2 and R6
If i put the sham link into area 0 all is good
If i put the sham link into area 24 all routes from other side show up as E2
routes
I tried making a virtual link as well in area 24 between R2 and R6 (over the
sham link) but that did nothing (I didnt expect it to but it was worth a
shot)
Where is my logic wrong?
