Hi Oyong, I'm glad you are actually spelling out why you think your guy Trump is more qualified to be president than Hillary. That's not the consensus in America today, but maybe, just maybe Trump will be able to ride on the massacre in Orlando all the way to the White House.
As far as Hillary, this is your first post: *1) She is a husband to Bill Clinton and she is shamelessly piggybacking on his touted accomplishments, and on one moment of candidness, admitted it so, when asked how she would deal with the economy. "I will use Bill, he did pretty well during his term" What had she done during his term? The disastrous Hillary Care?? It never passed the congress. But she was tagged with a few scandals.* My counterpoint: It's true that Hillary learned from her husband, Bill. Bill, after all, was the most successful president since Kennedy and Johnson. Kennedy inspired a generation of Americans, while Johnson was responsible for the Civil Rights Act which gave minorities in this country, including you and me, the rights that we have today. Bill Clinton was the first president since Truman who did not add to the budget deficits of this country. Through his brilliant handling of the economy, at the end of his term the country was looking at budget surpluses year after year "as far as the eye could see." Great guy to learn from. And Hillary was in on every important decision, not just health care. In fact, she often clashed with Al Gore because Hillary had started to act like she was another Vice-President. *2) She is a woman and had been an advocate for women's rights. What concretely had she done? Spoke about women's rights in an international forum. Honeybun, is that how low you can get? What significant law had she passed that uplifted the fate of women, locally and internationally? CV posted 7 accomplishments, gathered from a fan, none of which is earthshaking and the lone Foreign Policy accomplishment he cited, the Israeli Hamas Cease fire, the Clinton campaign scrubbed out of embarrassment.* *Do we have to go through her tortured term as a Secretary of State? Let us answer one question, did Hillary leave our relations in the Middle East, (Irag, Syria, Libya, Israel) Russia (Ukraine), China (South China Sea expansion), Iran, North Korea in better shape than when she came in? And we don't even have to talk about Benghazi and her Emails.* *My counterpoint: At one point, Oyong, you have to admit that it was necessary for someone - a world figure - to be the single, most important champion of human rights in this male-dominated world of ours. I'm sure you are aware that most women in the Muslim world and in Africa and even in countries such as the Philippines, women are treated like dirt. When Muslim girls are raped by Muslim men it is their fault. In places like Afghanistan, women are not supposed to go to school. The more women learn, the sentiment goes, the more likely they will rebel against their husbands. The struggle for women's rights continues. Improving the lives of women is Hillary's mission. And more than half the world's nearly 8 billion people - there are more women than men in this little world of ours, the Blue Dot in the middle of the universe - appreciate Hillary for her work. Many men such as me and all the liberals I know, of which there are many, appreciate Hillary for her work in uplifting the life and conditions of women all over the world.* *As Secretary of State, she was involved in the hunt for and killing of Bin Laden. She logged millions of miles, shuttling from one hotspot to another to assure that America did not become the bad guy in the eyes of the people in the Arab Spring countries. You know what happened in Iran in 1979. We were blamed by the Ayatollahs and became the fall guy in the Iranian revolution.* *After the recent Arab Spring, neither Tunisia, nor Morocco, nor Egypt, nor Libya is blaming us. We are seen in better light these days because of the work of the Obama administration, of which Hillary as Secretary of State was the point woman. The death of four Americans in Libya was an unfortunate consequence of the violent and volatile conditions in Benghazi. Could Hillary have done more? There were investigations in the Senate and the House on this subject. What happened to those who investigated and interviewed Hillary? They were put on the defensive because it was obvious they were not able to find proof that Hillary had made an error in judgment and that the only purpose of the Benghazi hearings was to destroy Hillary.* *The Email controversy? Unfortunate mistake in political judgment. Objectively, we are finding out that there were attempts to hack into Hillary's private servers, but none were successful. In contrast, the government experts know that government servers have been hacked by both the Chinese and the Russians. The latest hacking was done by Russians who hacked the DNC opposition research files on Donald Trump. The Russians did this and this clearly will help Trump. Could this be another Watergate? Did the Russians hack into the DNC files to possibly benefit the Trump campaign? We might never know because we have no jurisdiction over the Russian hackers.* *Cesar, what exactly did Trump say and what he meant? He is not a seasoned politician who is ever cautious in their statements, with deniability and vague words subject to different interpretations at a later date. It's reminiscent of Hillary Clintons shifting sand statements about the Egyptian crisis. Whatever you may say about Trumps shifting sand statements, he acknowledges it and give you reasons why he changed. Hillary denies it in stages and won't admit to any mistake, even when confronted with a video. His evolving position is that unless we could properly vete these immigrants, we should halt it. From what I could gather the FBI and the Homeland Security expressed difficulty in veting those refugees. As shown by the Orlando Massacre, they can't even properly vete our own terrorists, born and living here.* *Cesar, minimizing the threat of Radical Islam by the ratio and proportion doesn't cut it, it's silly.* *My counterpoint: Everything that Trump has said about banning ALL Muslims is documented. I have forwarded a link of the CNN Report. There are many reports about Trump's statements.* *Obama is not minimizing the threat of Radical Islam. He refuses to call it Radical Islam, he explained yesterday, because the responsible leaders in the more than 1 billion international Muslim community refuse to acknowledge that the terrorists in their midst are even Islamic. You and I and Bangkaw can call it Radical Islamic Terrorism, but Obama cannot label it as such because that probably would be construed as an America that is at war with Islam itself, a war where there will be no winners for generations to come.* *Bangkaw is right that the Muslims grew through war and conquest and the cruel treatment of those who refused to embrace Islam. That is a historical fact. However, most moderate Muslims today, and they probably are the bulk of the 1 billion - plus Muslims, claim that the terrorists are no longer Islamic. They claim that they are now the face of Islam and their ideology is that of peace and harmony with the rest of the world. This is why, in deference to the wishes of the huge majority of Muslims, Obama does not call Radical Islamic Terrorism as such. You and I can say it, but Obama feels that he can't, in deference to the wishes of Muslim leaders around the world - leaders whose help we need and are getting in our fight against ISIS or ISIL or Dash and Abu Sayyaf and Al Qaida and other radical Muslims who are fighting us.* *Regarding terrorism in this country. We have many homegrown terrorists. There will always be terrorists here because people snap and become murderous in intent. The Muslim terrorists are no exception. Some are acting alone, others are helped along and trained by ISIS, Al Qaida, etc.* *The job of law enforcement is to make sure that the would-be perpetrators are caught and prevented from succeeding in their murderous missions. As Obama has pointed out, we have been able as a country to prevent many of those plots from being carried out. But we cannot be right 100% of the time. The terrorists can be right only once and Orlando happens.* *I personally fault the FBI for not following through on their two investigations of the that guy Mateen. They already had the guy on their sights but they let him go and he was still able to buy assault weapons that he needed to commit his mass murder.* *Remember the IRA, the Irish Republican Army? They were terrorists in the British Isles. Everybody called them terrorists, though they called themselves freedom fighters. They were all Catholics. Nobody at that time, as far as I can remember, called them Irish Catholic Terrorists. They were just known as the IRA.* *Cesar, how do you improve the performance of your law enforcement officers, when you hamper the performance of their duty, with laws detrimental to good police work. It's nice to pontificate and to read it on paper, but you don't apprehend criminals by paper work and slogans. Black lives matter, have resulted in many more blacks killed by their own, with the police reluctant to apprehend suspected criminals under the threat of losing their job, or being branded as racist.* *My counterpoint: The Republicans still won't pass common sense gun control laws because they are in the pockets of the NRA. People who are on the NO-FLY lists, many of them suspected terrorists, are allowed to buy guns because the Republicans refuse to pass a gun control bill that will prohibit suspected terrorists from buying guns, especially assault rifles. The FBI has said that 99% of the people on their NO-FLY list have in fact bought guns in recent years, many of them assault rifles.* *Police work in this country is frustrated daily because of the ready availability of weapons of war that are in the hands of private citizens, including the crazies and the terrorists.* *This discussion is not about racism, Oyong. That's a different subject altogether.* *Cesar, are leaders of France, Britain, Australia and Canada not responsible leaders for saying the world radical Islam? Does eliminating the words Islamic Radical, delete them?* *My counterpoint: I don't have the time to research the subject of whether the leaders of France, Britain, Australia and Canada are using the term "Radical Islam." If I am wrong in saying that no responsible leaders are using that term, then I'm wrong. Let me remind you that I also use that term. But I'm not the president of the United States. And Obama feels that as president of the United States, it is wise for him not to use that term since Muslim leaders around the world refuse to acknowledge that the Muslim terrorists are in fact Islamists. Hillary, when she becomes president, will also not use the term Islamic terrorism. She does not use it now.* *But, as Obama said yesterday, the war against ISIL goes on. Thousands of ISIl leaders are dead. The drones got them. ISIL now occupies less than half the territory they occupied as recently as a year ago. Many ISIL-controlled territories are surrounded by allies, most of whom are Muslims. The financial empire that ISIL created is in disarray. Many extremists in the ISIL movement are being paid much less now because the sources of ISIL financing have dried up through the excellent work of the U.S. Department of Treasury and the Treasury of our western allies.* *All these are happening without Obama or Clinton uttering the words "Radical Islamic Terrorists."* *Cesar L* On Tue, Jun 14, 2016 at 11:55 PM, Honorio Cruz <[email protected]> wrote: > *Sorry Danding, for insulting your sensibilities, the Deity from Mt. > Arayat with his fake academia article of relativity choices, yet he is only > either or, no preponderance of evidence, out of academia.
