But you have the "potential" to go 120 - I have the "potential" to do
more damage at slow speeds, but I've been accident free for over 5
years now, so why should I pay for other people's stupidity?

I'm sure that if we worked out the physics, a car doing 120mph is
capable of doing one hell of a lot of damage

Just think - you hit someone in an SUV, you're going 120 - since your
car is lower, it slides underneath the SUV sending it flying off above
the road surface - see, much more dangerous - we should ban the low
cars <g>
