My point was that I resented the blanket statement.  In effect, it was
bigoted.  Sure, there are Christian fundamentalists as there are
fundamentalists in pretty much any religion.  I just don't like being
lumped in with them :)

  forgetting the tendency of fundamentalists Christians to refer to
  themselves and themselves only as "Christians"... those I know do not
  regard me as Christian, just as sadly mistaken :)
