I heard the same thing. Besides thinking the commentator was jonesing
for a blow (he was twitching his nose like crazy), I took the idea
that the Republicans were in a flurry of commentary during the debate
as just showing how they couldn't let Bush speak for himself and
instead needed to bolster his lackluster debating with up to the
minute spin.
