Nobody abhors this type of tom-foolery more than me, but here are some
ideas that might work (although I have no idea and you do this at your
own risk):

1.) To keep it from thawing just use a cooler or thermal lunch bag
with a few ice packs in  it. It probably takes awhile before it starts
expanding.

2.) Press the button on the top to get rid of any pressure and then
use a can opener to open the bottom.

3.) Barbersol shaving cream probably would work just fine.

4.) Discovery probably needs to be timed - you would want the person
to find the problem before the shaving cream starts to dissolve.  I'd
guess about 6-8 hours after the plant.  Less if it's not frozen solid,
probably.
