The problem I have with CF is that it is designed for the web. So little of
what I do now is web based.

It seems silly to pay that money for something, when the tools I already
have do the same thing, and often better.

CF is a good language for web sites, but when it came time to resell
applications, it was a hindrance. The code is easily readable by the
purchaser, and the cost of the server makes people back away.

If I'm doing my own hosting, and licensing the application it is one thing,
but setting up a server farm, becomes another cost point.
