Let me reach across my desk and get my copy of it. Yep its called the DSM-IVR. Published in 2002 by the American Psychiatric Publishers Nope no tests came with it - Just a very thick paperback book with a silver cover - I was too cheap to get the hardback with the maroon cover. > And here is the clincher. > > The book is typically considered the âbibleâ for any professional who > makes psychiatric diagnoses in the United States and many other > countries. > > Now with the test that has been designed in conjunction with this > manual (DSM-IV) or the 2002 version DSM-IVTR. > > I wont get into a debate on this, I have a cousin who has been > autistic for 10 years and we have been to all the support and > information nights by professionals in this area. It may be based on the diagnostic criteria listed in the DSM-IVR but its not the DSM-IVR. That's just a set of guidelines for diagnosis. What's more, as a whole its a compromise cobbled together by a set of committees. And we all know what committees are like, at least 6 legs and no brain. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Create robust enterprise, web RIAs.
