Has anyone had to deal with this?
We look Loki into the vet yesterday and the vet looked over him, did a
skin scrap and found the Demodex mites on him. She gave us some
Mitaban dip to use. We did the first dip last night. The vet said that
he may be sleepy and a little slower after the dip. Well Loki's a
Jack Russell, so a little slower it's welcomed at times..
What's odd is that this morning I took him out of his crate to have a
bowel movement.. he wouldn't go.. almost acted like he was being
punished and started shaking, he would barely even put his hind end on
the ground. Well, I tried again after he ate and then before I left
for work around 8:40 this morning.. my wife just tried almost 3 hours
later and no bowel movement. We called the vet and she said it could
be a normal reaction to the shots he got yesterday (he also got his 16
week shots - rabies and vaccination) yesterday. She also said it could
be the Mitaban killing the mites. And said if he's not better by
tomorrow then to bring him in.. so my question, has anyone of you had
to deal with Mitaban? or similar issues with their puppy?

Thanks
