Guys, I'm sorry, but I just have to say: Kiss your wife one last time, shoot her in the head, shoot yourself in the head = Not Funny. Kiss your wife one last time, shoot her in the head, call the police who find you crying = Not Funny. Kiss your wife one last time, shoot her in the head, just sit and go catatonic = Not Funny. Kiss your wife one last time, throw her off the balcony = Funny. I'm sorry -- it just is. I mean, this is like a big batch of fresh dough for a comedian to bake as he or she pleases, yes? Look, you've got the doctor jokes angle. You've got the quickie slapstick "_____ my wife _____" "Oh yeah? So what did you do, Joe?" "I threw her over the balcony!" angle. And because of where they found the body, you've got the "expensive shopping wife" angle. You even have the guy who thinks he recognizes him at the police station and says "Reimer?" To which Reimer replies "Nope, threw her over the fuckin' balcony!" And there's at least a half dozen songs you could make with this. Am I the only one who's seeing the comedic value in this? Come on back to me now...
