Well... The opposite of your argument is true as well. Doesn't seem fair to me that I, as a homeowner and father to three children will get nailed up and down having to pay a "consumption tax" on the shoes and clothes and food needed to raise a family, not to mention the upkeep of a home. Compared to those single, childless, small business owners that own nothing of their own and might buy a pair of shoes every couple of years... Yeah... Sounds fair to me. Where do I sign up for that??? Real level playing field...
